Terms And Return Policy On Line Orders

EXCHANGE

Bishop's Jewelry Gallery offers a jewelry exchange policy that allows you to send your purchase back for a credit. If for any reason you are not satisfied, return the item within 30 days from date of purchase for a credit in the amount purchase towards any item or service of equal or greater value. Jewelry must return unused or undamaged, in perfect condition.  Custom made, engraved, or special orders cannot be exchanged.

RETURN / REFUND POLICY

Items ordered via the telephone, facsimile, or over the internet, sight unseen or viewed only by image, may be returned in their original condition within 10 days after you or your agent receives the item(s) for a complete refund if you are not satisfied for any reason. The returned item(s) must be shipped back to us along with the original packaging, at your expense, to the address on the invoice via The United States Postal Service registered and insured for the full amount of the invoiced item(s). Please keep your postal receipts in case of loss. You are liable for the full amount until we accept return of the item(s). We will refund in total any deposited monies if an item is unavailable or a job is not possible to do. Items ordered via the telephone, facsimile, or over the internet, which are in stock items at Bishops Jewelry Store, may be returned in their original condition within 10 days after you or your agent receives the item(s), for a complete refund if you are not satisfied for any reason, excluding Custom, Special orders, or modified (sized, etc) items. All Custom and Special Orders cannot be returned for refund or credit. In Stock Items that are requested for modification including sizing, are final sales.

Replacement Policy
At our discretion, our store repairs or replaces any item that we determine to contain a factory or manufacturing defect, at our expense, that is not caused by normal wear or abuse. 

Upgrade Policy
Bishop's Jewelry Gallery wishes to see you in bigger, better, and more brilliant Natural Diamonds. To this end, we offer you a 100% return of your purchase price of the major diamond stones of 1/10th carat or larger that were purchased from us, towards an upgraded diamond of 50% higher dollar amount.  Please ask for details at the store. ( Laboratory Grown Diamond upgrades are subject to current Market Value )

Upgrade Costs
The only cost to you is the increase in cost between your old diamond and the new upgraded diamond, the cost of removing the old diamond, the setting of the new diamond, and any additional costs if you require a complete new setting and/or new mounting (as in for a larger or alternative shaped stone). The returned diamond must be undamaged and in its original purchased condition.  Please ask about upgrading diamonds purchased from other places than us, we will work with you.  

Scrapping Out for Precious Metal Content
Any unwanted parts or jewelry that is returned in an upgrade, or sold to us, and used towards a future purchase, will be credited. We use the current New York Spot metal price as a basis for precious metal content valuation.  Call for quotes.

Insurance
Bishop's Jewelry Gallery recommends a scheduled personal property endorsement be added to your homeowner's or renter's insurance policy for full replacement value of your purchases against any future damage, loss, or theft.  We also have paperwork for Jewelers Mutual, a great Insurance Company for personal jewelry.  We use this company and have very happy with them.  Ask for paperwork.
